UTILITY AND RENTAL ASSISTANCE

  • The LIHEAP Summer Cooling Phase began July 25, 2022 and will operate through September 30, 2022 or until funding is depleted.  LIHEAP Summer Cooling appointments will be conducted in-person, instead of utilizing drop boxes.  LIHEAP Summer Cooling is designed to offset the cost of higher electric bills during the summer months and is separated into two components, Subsidy and Crisis.  Appointments are currently full.  Check back on August 11th by calling 502/991-8931 or visiting louisvilleky.cascheduler.com in the event more appointments are added if more funding becomes available.  Also visit louisivlleky.gov/LIHEAP for more details..

  • As of May 9, 2022, residents of Jefferson County can now apply for emergency rental assistance through the state's Healthy at Home Eviction Relief Fund. Find out more information about how to apply here:
