Louisville Metro Office of Resilience and Community Services (RCS) staff members offer a variety of trainings and workshops on a broad range of issues that focus on developing a certain skill, improving health and well-being, or focusing on a particular topic. RCS is also happy to share trainings offered by partner agencies which align with the work we do.
Balance Basics is a free, one hour learning and activity course offered to senior groups with 30 minutes focused on fall prevention learning/discussion and 30 minutes of instructor led activity. Learn more here.

The Community Financial Empowerment Certification was designed for social service providers/ support staff hoping to expand their knowledge of personal finance and economic decision-making for their clients. The program focuses on budgeting, saving, spending, and breaking the cycle of poverty by enhancing the knowledge of social service providers in financial empowerment work.
