Under the Office of Resilience and Community Service lies the Office of Financial Empowerment. With Louisville citizens' financial health and empowerment as a focus, OFE has launched several community-wide strategies to help individuals gain critical access to high quality financial resources. These include financial education and coaching, safe and affordable banking services and products, savings for college, access to free tax preparation services/the Earned Income Tax Credit, and more. Our goal is to ensure that all services provided are accessible and inclusive to everyone. The Office leverages this pioneering work to model municipal government as a laboratory for social innovation and demonstrate what’s possible for other cities across the country.

Check out our programs and resources to see how the Office of Financial Empowerment can help you on your journey to financial security!
