Level 2 Web Archive
This is the web archive for the Level 2 of the Community Financial Empowerment Certification Program. These are recordings of the classes and presentations that are regularly offered through the Certification program. Please complete the pre-survey before watching a recording and complete the post-survey once you have finished a recording. As classes are added to our schedule of offerings, they will be recorded and added to the archive.
We will be updating our attendance database monthly for those who have watched these sessions, but credit is only given if you have completed the Pre AND Post Surveys.

Louisville Financial Education
Join the Community Financial Empowerment Certification Program for a class on the Financial Education community of Louisville with an emphasis on training attendees on the Start Fresh and Credit As An Asset curriculum.

Retirement and Investing
This Certification program class will cover the basics of retirement and investing, with a focus on low- to moderate-income individuals. Martha Puche of TransNational will be your instructor

This Certification program class offering will be covering the basics around saving strategies and will incorporate various savings education curriculums within this training.
This Certification program class offering will be covering the various aspects of modern financial technology from online banking to money management apps to investing apps.
Dealing with Debt
Join Joseph Cecil of the Community Financial Empowerment Certification Program as he goes through the Your Money, Your Goals toolkit module on Dealing with Debt. This class will focus on tactics to reduce debt as well as better ways to deal with debt collectors, and resources to reduce debt.
Reentry and Recovery
Join Ce Garrison of the Office of Financial Empowerment for a two-part certification on dealing with the complex worlds of personal finance and reentry and recovery.
Budgeting and Spending
Join Joseph Cecil of the Community Financial Empowerment Certification Program as he goes over strategies for creating budgets and how to track and analyze spending. This class is meant for working on budgeting and spending of low to moderate income clients and not for nonprofits.
This Certification class will focus on how to properly utilize a bank account and the modern changes occurring in the banking world.
Youth Personal Finance
This certification class will cover the basics around youth financial education and what different curriculums and products are out there, as well as what specific issues face the youth population.
