Unsheltered Homeless Initiatives
- $1 million Metro allocation in FY21 and FY20 to nine non-profits for the continuation of successful homeless initiatives (building on $500,000 FY19 allocation for six months)
- Three options for low-barrier shelters beds; permanent storage location; expanded street outreach

Homeless Task Force (formerly Homeless Encampment Task Force)
- Established three years ago and completed original goals (i.e.,21-Day Notice SOPs)
- Taking a deeper dive into issues. Seeking subcommittee members for: Community Outreach; Aging Unsheltered Homeless; Communications; Low Barrier Shelter; Mental Behavior and Substance Abuse; and Housing

New Homeless Services Division
- $250,000 Metro allocation in in January 2021 for RCS to create a new Homeless Services Division
- Four new positions (project manager; two program coordinators; and a homeless mental health and substance abuse coordinator
- Designated workforce to work on all these pieces listed above and build capacity
