Proper nutrition is a key component in promoting independence and physical and mental well-being.

Senior Nutrition (Congregate Meals and Meals on Wheels)

The Senior Nutrition Program provides hot, nutritious lunchtime meals to senior citizens throughout the Louisville Metro area.  Meals on Wheels and the Congregate Meal Sites are the two primary aspects of the Senior Nutrition Program.

Dare to Care Food Bank

The Dare to Care program operates a commodity and emergency food assistance program for households in crisis. Commodities and emergency food can be accessed at Dare to Care Food Bank locations, including the Community Action Partnership office located at the Newburg Community Center. Emergency food can also be distributed to clients visiting Neighborhood Place locations in special circumstances.
