Adult Education Scholarship

 

Louisville Metro Office of Resilience and Community Services provides tuition assistance to low-income residents attending a 2 year or 4 year degree program.

 

 

Eligibility Requirements

  • Jefferson County resident
  • Household income within 125% of the federal poverty guidelines
  • Expect to complete requirements to graduate with an Associate or Bachelor’s degree on or before June 30, 2019
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.3 or higher
  • ​Currently receiving  case management or agree to case management by a Resilience and Community Services representative

Documentation

  • Photo ID for applicant
  • Proof of previous month's income for entire household.
  • Social Security number verification for everyone in the household
  • Unofficial transcripts
  • Current schedule (proof of enrollment)
  • Degree audit (courses taken & needed to graduate  * must include actual graduation date -usually provided by academic advisor)
  • School Invoice of balance owed
