An exhibition of public art at the Waterfront
Connect|Disconnect is the inaugural project of Louisville Metro Government’s Public Art Initiative and the Commission on Public Art. The exhibition of vibrant works connects visitors with Louisville’s heritage and its future.
On display for a limited time, Connect|Disconnect brings together the creations of five acclaimed artist teams commissioned for the project.
August 28-November 30, 2015
Where: West Downtown/East Portland, on the Louisville Loop, between 8th and 12th Streets
Suggested parking: Public lot at 8th and Washington or on-street parking along 10th and Rowan Streets
Drive: From I-64, take 9th Street exit (4); turn right on W. Jefferson Street, then right on 10th Street. Follow 10th Street to Rowan Street, walk across the parking lot to the Loop. From Main Street, turn right on 8th Street. Follow 8th Street to public parking lot.
Walk/Bike: Take the Louisville Loop east from Lannan Park, Northwestern Parkway at 16th Street, or west from Waterfront Park.
