OPI is the planning and improvement function within Louisville Metro Government. We focus on working with departments to create customized solutions for better service delivery.
Our consultants use industry-leading practices to:
- Develop and coordinate strategies across Louisville Metro Government
- Lead cross-functional teams dedicated to increasing efficiency and eliminating waste
- Create a data-driven culture focused on continuous improvement
- Train employees in Lean and Six Sigma and other topics like project management and data analysis
What Works Cities provides certifications to cities who “build the most well-managed local governments possible."
In April 2019, Louisville improved their certification status from silver to gold, marking our continued progress in improving our operations across the government.
