Meet the Team


Amos Izerimana is the Director of International and Immigrant Affairs for Louisville Metro Government where he oversees all welcoming efforts for the city. He promotes equity, welcoming initiatives, and inclusion of immigrant and refugee communities into the civic, social, and economic life of the city.

Vivian Marin is the Program Manager for the Office of Immigrant Affairs where she implements and monitors programs, facilitates internal and external communication with immigrant communities, and supports community engagement strategies that make Louisville the place for international immigrants to live, learn, play, and work.

Monica Lakhwani is the Language Access Coordinator for the Office for Immigrant Affairs where she oversees the implementation of the departments language access policy directives, plan, and procedures in accordance to Title VI; and assists city government agencies to improve engagement with limited English-speaking residents and ensure meaningful access to programs and activities.
