Bus Rapid Transit Planned Stops
The New Dixie Highway's new Bus Rapid Transit System - a faster than express TARC route - will be the first of its kind in the region. Planners are proposing the following stops for the route, which will follow the Dixie Highway/18th Street cooridor all the way Broadway - and then into downtown.
The stops will be designed to be highly visibile and attractive. And many of them will include upgraded facilities, like shelters and plantings.
