Metro Police Mobile App
The Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) is making it easy to report a tip, file a complaint, file a police report, appeal a citation and much more, using the LMPD mobile app. Just search for "Civic Mobile" in your app store. Or download it on the Apple store or Google Play.
In addition to receiving notifications using LENSAlert, Louisville's emergency notification system, individuals can create a Safety Profile for themselves and their household that can include any information they want 9-1-1 and first responders to have in the event of an emergency. Look for Smart911 in your app store today! When individuals make an emergency call, their Safety Profile is automatically displayed to the 9-1-1 call taker, allowing them to send the right responders to the right location with the right information. Information about medical history, allergies to medication, number of residents in a home and even a picture of the family dog can all be added to a Safety Profile. Waze
Louisville Metro Government is partnered with Waze to display all road closure information which displays it on an easy-to-use and easy-to-see-and-understand mobile app that can be downloaded on smart phones, tablets or in car navigation systems. The information is enhanced by sharing crowd-sourced incident reports from Waze users, also known as Wazers. Users also can put in their starting address and ending address – and Waze will map the most direct route to avoid road closures. Download Waze now in the Apple store or Google Play!
Smell MyCity
The Smell MyCity App is a mobile phone app designed to engage local residents in tracking pollution odors. Smell MyCity can be used anywhere in the United States. The map view displays smell reports submitted in the area on a given date. This allows residents to track where odors are frequently concentrated, and link those smell events to poor air quality in, or upwind from, those areas.
