Metro Council meeting Thursday September 13, 2018

Louisville – The Metro Council met on Thursday, September 13th. Here are highlights of the Council’s meeting.

Consent Calendar: All items were passed by a vote of 24 to 0.

Included on the Consent Calendar

Item 34: An Ordinance which sets the tax rate for the Urban Service District. The rate is unchanged from the previous year

Item 35: A Resolution requesting the Internal Auditor of the Louisville Metro Government to conduct an audit of the Louisville Metro Police Department to review the administration of overtime between December 2016 and August of 2018.

 

Old Business:

Item 43: by a vote of 23 to 0, the Council approved an Ordinance requiring Metro Council approval to close, repurpose, lease or sell a Metro-owned golf course.

Item 44: by a vote of 19 to 4, the Council approved an Ordinance which establishes a food permit for food service establishments.

Item 49: by a vote of 13 to 9, the Council approved a Resolution amending its rules with regard to addressing the initiation of audits and investigations.
