These Bardstown Road Parking Studies (2001 and 2005) may be somewhat dated, but I believe many of the recommendations contained within remain relevant, actionable and likely to be effective. I intend to implement and execute much of this – and improve and increase public transportation – to ease congestion on Bardstown Road.
The Pavement Condition Index (PCI) is a numerical index between 0 and 100, which is used to indicate the general condition of pavement. The Department of Public Works considers streets having a PCI of 55 or below to be distressed, and prioritized for paving purposes.
