Do you have prescription drugs that are out dated or are no longer needed?  Are you looking for a way to dispose of them in a safe and legal manner? The Sheriff's Office has a drug disposal collection box that is accessible to the public for disposal of prescription drugs Monday through Friday.

  • Traffic Citations: If a person chooses to pay a traffic citation at a driver's license branch, the credit card fee is $6 (Traffic citation only). When paying a citation at a driver's license branch, it must be done 3 business days before the scheduled court date.

During a winter weather event, you can track the progress of snow removal using and interactive map that is constantly updated with the latest info. It's a great tool to use before hitting the roadways when they are in poor condition. The city's salt storage facilities are well-stocked and ready to fight winter weather. Before the season's first snowflake, the city had 35,000 tons of salt available, including 15,000 tons on hand at salt domes and storage facilities.

The Council Meetings are held in the Metro Council Chambers on the 3rd floor of 601 West Jefferson Street.   You can enter the building by accessing the 6th Street entrance or the Congress Alley entrance which is handicap accessible. Check the Metro Council agenda for upcoming meetings.
