Riverview Independence Festival
Saturday, June 30th @ 3:00
The Annual Riverview Festival returns on Saturday, June 30th! The event, now in its 7th year, is the only Independence Holiday of its kind in Southwest Louisville and this year promises to grow that tradition.
We are excited to welcome rising country music star Cale Dodds to the Riverview Stage for the first time as our headliner! Turley Richards, Bailey James, and Justin Paul Lewis will also take the stage to entertain the holiday crowd.
The fun extends to the whole family as kids can enjoy Climb Elemental’s Rock Wall and Jefferson Memorial Forest’s ECHO Mobile. The Louisville League of Mascots will be on hand to mingle and meet as well. And there’s always the beautiful Riverview Splash Park to beat the heat!
WUOL Classical Music Experience, along with the Squallis Puppeteers, will be here with a popup activity area for kids to play, explore, and learn the world of classical music. Their activities span from visual arts, theater, dance, and musical games, with limited prizes being given away.
This Southwest tradition would not be possible without the support of the Metro Council and the many businesses that partner to strengthen the fabric of our community.
Special thanks to this year’s Presenting Sponsors Brown-Forman and Kosair Charities! The festivities begin at 3:00 pm and lasts until sundown when the Ohio River will be a picturesque backdrop for a fantastic Fireworks Show at 10:00 pm!
Start the Independence Holiday off right by commemorating with another great year of fun, fireworks and friends! If you have any questions please contact Liz McQuillen at (502) 574-1112 or email@example.com.
