Office of Records Compliance

 

The Office of Records Compliance is composed of the Division of Open Records and the Division of Records Management & Archives.

The Division of Open Records is responsible for coordination and facilitation of Open Records Requests throughout all Louisville Metro Government departments, divisions, and related agencies with the exceptions of Louisville Metro Council, MetroSafe 911 records, Ethics Commission, and LMPD.

The Division of Records Management & Archives is responsible for storage, retrieval, and final disposition of inactive public records transferred to it from Metro departments, divisions, and related agencies.  The division will also provide retention schedule updates, records management training, and research assistance.
