- Trailhead sign is located in the north-west area of the park

- Parking lot near tennis or baseball fields, access at intersection of Southwestern Parkway and Shawnee Park Road

- To Chickasaw Park: 1.5 miles
- To Lannan Park: 3.3 miles
Path Route Heading North/East:
- Off-road/paved path (aka Louisville Riverwalk) ending at detour Market Street
- On-road shared roadway along Northwestern Pkwy to Bank Street (one way) connecting back to Loop via 33rd Street.
Path Route Heading South:
- On-road path to Chickasaw Park
