The 418-unit complex Vesta Derby Oaks was purchased in 2018 by Middleburg Real Estate Partners with plans to renovate the workforce housing. The city signed the local participation agreement with Middleburg in October 2018, and Metro Council approved an ordinance to establish a development area in August 2016.
