Orienteering: Which Way Do We Go?
For grades 6 and up
Learn how to understand and apply basic map information, how to read a topographical map, and how to take and follow compass bearings from one location to another. Can be adapted to the age and ability level of the participants.
Ages 8 and up
Learn to shoot a bow and arrow within minutes! Accommodates all physical ability levels. All equipment provided. Can also be added as a component of another program. Aligns with National Archery in the Schools (NASP) Curriculum.
Team Building and Community Development
Grade 6 through Adult
These dynamic programs are designed to increase the self-esteem, problem-solving and communication skills of the participants. Using the medium of safe but challenging activities, students examine their leadership/group styles while participating in group problem-solving processes, trust building activities and healthy risk taking. Team Building/Teams Course
Participants are challenged to examine themselves, the group they are a part of, and how they relate. Through a series of fun, non-competitive games, team activities, and low-rope elements that emphasize cooperation over competition, care, planning, and trust, participants begin to learn more about their own strengths, good communication skills, and what it takes to become a responsible group member.
Alpine Tower Experience
Challenge yourself or your students on our 52 ft. climbing experience! Group problem-solving initiatives emphasize teamwork, trust, compassion, cooperation, respect, and communication. For the individual, the experience enhances self-esteem, perseverance, and healthy risk-taking.
