Absolutely Animals

Learn about the adaptations, behaviors, and survival needs Kentucky’s native wildlife. Get up close and personal with live animals in our nature center!

Woods Walk

Explore our forest ecosystem and the diversity of animals, plants and microorganisms found here. Students will enjoy a hike while learning about the diversity of animals, plants and microorganisms that make up a forest community.

Pond Exploration

Use a net and magnifiers to uncover the hidden wonders of the pond. Learn about the life cycles of aquatic animals, and how the pond plants are important to them.

Habitat Scramble

Investigate different habitats to compare the diversity of life. See which life cycles can be found in a forest, a pond and a meadow, and learn how species survive in different habitats.
