Homeowner Resources

Effective March 6, 2018: Louisville Metro’s funding for the Home Repair program have been exhausted due to an unprecedented volume of applications. As such, the Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) will not accept applications for the Home Repair program until further notice.

The Home Repair program uses Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Because of the unusually high number of applicants, applications are unable to be processed until additional funds become available.

The CDBG program provides grant assistance to qualified applicants for necessary repairs that protect the health, safety, and welfare of the household and the immediate habitability of the home.

The Office of Housing and Community Development offers many programs to assist the homeowners. Complete our online pre-application to learn which programs you may qualify for.
