Wayside Christian Mission

Populations Served: Men, women, and families 

During White Flag, those staying overnight do not have to leave during the day. Low Barrier check-in is from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The smoking area is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Hospital discharges and vulnerable populations will be accommodated after hours, as well as LMPD drop-offs. 


Salvation Army Center of Hope

The Salvation Army is only open for White Flag during the day. 


St. Vincent de Paul (Men Only)

Overnight check-in is at 3 p.m. and lights out is at 11 p.m. White Flag check-in is at 6:00 p.m. and walk-ins are welcome at any time. Check-out the following day is at 6 a.m.

Emergency shelter beds can be reserved by calling Coordinated Shelter Access at 502-637-2337 between 10 AM and 4 PM Monday, 7 days a week. The Client Care Services staff can also refer you to other social service providers. Coordinated Shelter Access can also be reached by visiting the Ollie Green II Building located at 1300 South 4th Street, Suite 250. 

If you are in need of an emergency bed after hours or when CSA is closed, please contact the shelter. 

If you are ineligible or banned from any particular shelter, it is up to the staff on whether or not you are allowed in. White Flag also does not guarantee that a shelter bed will be available.
