Emergency Shelter Options
Emergency shelter beds can be reserved by calling Coordinated Shelter Access at 502-637-2337 between 10 AM and 4 PM Monday, 7 days a week. The Client Care Services staff can also refer you to other social service providers. Coordinated Shelter Access can also be reached by visiting the Ollie Green II Building located at 1300 South 4th Street, Suite 250.

St. Vincent de Paul Ozanam Inn (Men only)

At St. Vincent de Paul, men experiencing homelessness can reserve an emergency shelter bed by calling 637-BEDS or 502-584-2480 (ext.224). The Ozanam Inn serves dinner.

Over 1500 Louisvillians utilize the emergency overnight shelter at the Salvation Army each year. Contact the Salvation Army Center of Hope at 502-671-4904. Dinner is served prior to check-in. To reserve a bed, please call 502-637-2337.

Center for Women and Families (Domestic violence, sex trafficking, and sexual assault survivors only)

The Center for Women and Families offers overnight shelter and supportive services for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. The Center's 24 Hour Crisis Hotline can be reached by calling 844-237-2331.
1321 South Preston Street
The Volunteers of America create a bridge between transitional housing to permanent housing at their overnight family shelter. Call 502-636-0816 to learn more or receive assistance. To reserve a bed, please call 502-637-2337.

Young Adult Shelters in Louisville include:
YMCA Shelter House (ages 12-17 only)

Drop-In Center for Youth (16-22): Open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
The YMCA Shelter House offers 24 hour support staff and case management services for teens ages 12-17. Life skills, family mediation, meals, and access to medical care are provided, among other supportive services. The shelter can be reached at 502-635-5233.
1020 East Broadway
TAYLRD is a youth drop in center for youth between 16-25. Services are offered Wednesday through Friday from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. You can reach TAYLRD by calling 502-690-4399.
Home of the Innocents Pathways HOME
Referral-based housing program for young adults aged 18-24. To learn more, you can reach the shelter by calling 502- 637- 2080.

Uniting Partners for Women and Children (UP)

Open Wednesday: 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
St. John Center offers unsheltered men the ability to receive mail, take a hot shower, and receive necessities like socks and hygiene products. Employment and housing counselors are available onsite during the day to offer services. You can call 502-568-6758 for more information.
