On November 14, 2017, we will be "celebrating" World Diabetes Day. In Kentucky, the focus of the 2017 World Diabetes Day is to engage people with undiagnosed diabetes in schools, congregations, and workplaces by raising awareness, testing, and shepherding them into care and improved health.
In our region, the KIPDA Diabetes taskforce aims to support this initiative by hosting an ambitious screening campaign, with the goal of screening 10,000 local residents for diabetes risk. We plan to do that through various marketing strategies that will raise awareness and result in use of a simple 7 question screening tool.
So we have an ASK
