Updated COVID-19 boosters are now available. What are they, who should get them, and when?

Need a COVID test?

  • Free COVID-19 home tests are available at all Louisville Metro Parks community centers. Tests can be picked up during any community center’s operating hours while supplies last. Here is a list of community center locations. At home COVID-19 tests can be used on anyone 2 years old and older.
  • The Increasing Community Access to Testing (ICATT) supports no-cost COVID-19 testing for people who are experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19. People without health insurance do not have to pay for COVID-19 testing at ICATT locations. The tests are billed to third-party payers, such as Medicare, Medicaid, and private health insurers, to increase program sustainability.
  • Get tested by your healthcare provider.
  • Check your local pharmacies for tests.  Some also provide treatment in addition to testing. Find a test to treat location.
  • Still need help finding a test? Call the LOU Health COVID-19 Helpline at 502-574-8207. Someone is available to assist you Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Test2Treat.org provides free telemedicine visits for those who have already tested positive (home tests qualify) for COVID or flu. If they qualify, they can get an antiviral script sent directly to their home or local pharmacy free of charge. The program runs until the end of April 2024.
