Arson
The primary duties of this unit are to investigate suspicious and incendiary fires and to apprehend and convict those so engaged in the crime of arson and related offenses. During 2020, the Bureau investigated 490 incidents of which 191 were incendiary fires. A total of 81 arrests were made in 2020 and 11 counseled and released.
