External Agency Fund: Resilience and Community Services

Louisville Metro Government’s Office of Resilience and Community Services (RCS) serves as Louisville’s Community Action Agency and works to “fight poverty and promote compassion, stability, and the empowerment of residents and communities.”

Progress towards this mission will positively affect all Louisvillians, but RCS’ work directly impacts Louisville’s most vulnerable – people struggling to pay their utility bills, worried about where their next meals are coming from, or experiencing homelessness. The RCS team works every day towards this mission and we can't do it alone. To make the kind of impact on our community that we want to make requires the help of trusted partners.

Beginning Friday, February 8th, 2024, RCS invites local nonprofits to submit proposals for FY25 Metro Impact Grants (previously named External Agency Fund grants, or EAF). Local nonprofits are encouraged to review the application guidance for eligibility and relevance to their programs. Expected timeline listed below. Previous applicants will notice a much shorter application this year in an effort to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the process.

Applications Open: February 9th

RCS Virtual Open Office Hours: February 12th, 10am-12pm, and February 15th 2pm – 4pm.
Application Deadline: March 1st
