Disaster Preparation

Emergency Services completed the Louisville Metro Hazard Mitigation Plan in 2016.  Plans must be updated and approved every five years to maintain eligibility.  It is currently being updated as there was a delay due to the pandemic. Here are some of our top local hazards:
