The mission of Louisville Emergency Services is to provide high quality and compassionate emergency and non-emergency response to the citizens and visitors of Louisville Metro and its local, state and regional partners in order to achieve the most favorable outcomes for people, property and the environment.
Divisions of Emergency Services
Emergency Management Agency coordinates the work of 95 agencies during disasters. It supports you and first responders with disaster preparation, response, recovery and mitigation efforts. It is your emergency response team for the entire community.
Emergency Medical Services keeps you alive during the critical period of your sudden injury or illness. It is your primary medical care provider during emergencies.
MetroSafe 911 takes your emergency calls and connects you to police, fire department, emergency medical help and other first responders. It's your primary help line.
Metro311 takes your non-emergency calls and provides customer service. It's your connection to the city government.
Office of Special Events is committed to providing local and visiting events with the highest quality of service and customer care. Hosting your event in Louisville Metro means dedicated staff and resources are available to support and accommodate your needs.
Communications Technology Services supports our public safety and public wervice partners with state of the art technology. They maintain our robust radio system, phones, computers, and other interfaces.
Public Information directs our outreach programs and seeks to inform and educate the public about our public safety mission.
