UofL Belknap Campus
At 274 acres, the University of Louisville Belknap Campus, a.k.a. UofL Research Park, is home to seven of the 12 academic colleges, Cardinal Stadium, Owsley B. Frazier Cardinal Park, Cardinal Track and Soccer Stadium, Bass-Rudd Tennis Center, and Jim Patterson Stadium. The city signed the local participation agreement with Louisville Medical Center Development Corp. in January 2011. Metro Council approved an ordinance to establish a development area in October 2010 and amended it in January 2015.
