Poe Companies is opening the 110-room Moxy Louisville Downtown and 205-room Hotel Distil on the site of the old J.T.S. Brown and Sons distillery and barrel house in the historic 100 block of West Main Street. The city signed the local participation agreement with Poe Companies LLC in November 2016, and Metro Council approved an ordinance to establish a development area in October 2016.
