Downtown Marriott Hotel
The 616-room Louisville Marriott Downtown was built in 2005 and completed a $30 million renovation in 2018. The city signed a development agreement with Kentucky Convention Hotel Inc. and REI Investments Inc. in April 2002, and in July 2002, the city and and state signed the local participation agreement with those parties. Metro Council approved an ordinance to establish a development area in May 2002.
