Permitted and Prohibited Trees

The Division will only issue planting permits if the selected trees are on the permitted planting list. The Division has the right to grant permits to plant species not on the list, and the right to waive a standard. The Division will not issue a planting permit if the selected tree is on the prohibited planting list.
 
Permitted and Prohibited Tree List (Master Tree List): lists all tree species permitted planting in the public right of way, as well as prohibited.  This list is in order by Tree Size Type (height at maturity): A (50ft +), B (+25ft – 50ft) and C (10ft – 25ft).
