Permits
As of November 1, 2022, any permit that has exceeded the number of inspections associated with your permit will require payment of the additional inspection fee prior to the inspection being scheduled. This will be an automatic requirement when requested on the business portal or when requests are submitted via phone or email. The fee amount for additional inspections remains at $50.00. We are not assessing an additional fee for any inspection with a result of “phone, cancelled, waived, no work, or rescheduled.”

If you are a contractor and wish to apply for your permits online, you can request an account. At this time, we are unable to issue permits to homeowners, who must come to our office in order to obtain permits.

***Attention Owners and Builders/Contractors - Blue placards are needed for all building alteration permits and addition permits; except for New Residential or if it is over 1800 square feet. You can purchase these for $2 in our office.
You may also print your own, provided, it will need to be printed in color on 11”x17” paper and it needs to be able to hold up in rain, sleet & snow—like vinyl or hard plastic. For a printable version click here.
