Community Land Trust
Louisville Metro Government entered into an agreement with community development organization REBOUND in December 2020 to establish a community land trust (CLT) in the Russell and Smoketown neighborhoods, using up to $2.1 million in federal Community Development Block Grant funds.
REBOUND is partnering with Bates Community Development Corp., Center for Neighborhoods and River City Housing on this effort. As part of their work, the partners will help establish a new community-led organization that will manage the CLT, according to the group’s proposal. REBOUND and its partners are working on community engagement and taking other steps toward the creation of the CLT.
