Property Maintenance Division is committed to enforcing the Metro's Property Maintenance, Nuisance and Zoning Codes, which delineates the minimum health, safety and land use standards for all properties. We also help enforce the "Smoke Detector" section of the Fire Prevention Code. Fair but vigorous enforcement of these codes is one of the best ways to ensure that all properties within Louisville Metro are safe, sound and sanitary. However, it's a job that can't be done without your help.
We all want to make our community better, safer and a healthier place to live and work. With your help, we can build a partnership of pride and concern for our community.
