Helpdesk Support

The Louisville Metro Department of Information Technology Service Desk strives to keep users running and able to perform their job efficiently by taking care of their IT needs for them. We will provide front line support and act as an advocate for the end user for escalated issues. The Louisville Metro Department of Information Technology Service Desk Provides the following:

  • 24x7 access to the Metro Service Desk
  • Support staff is available on-site Monday-Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm
  • Public Safety MDT Support Staff is available Onsite at Fleet Maintenance from 06:30am to 5:00pm
  • Setup, installation and configuration of new hardware and software
  • Standard and custom desktop imaging at the time of installation
  • Operating System Support
  • Microsoft Office Professional suite support
  • Onsite support throughout the enterprise including delivery and pickup of technology Items
  • Relocation of IT related items during office transitions
  • Leased and Owned Multi-function printer support
  • Full function IT Self Service Portal
  • Mobile Device support including tablets and cell phones
