If you're new to town, here is a checklist of places to go and things you'll need to do to get settled in:

• Get a new drivers license (To be completed by law 10 days after establishing residency.)
• Get your vehicle registered at the Jefferson County Clerk's Office.
• Auto inspection - An out of state vehicle inspection is required by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office when a vehicle is brought into Kentucky from another state or purchased in another state. 
• Register to vote
