The Mayor's Virtual Hike, Bike & Paddle 2020 is a unique event that was developed for the safety of our participants, volunteers, staff, partners and community to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. For the safety of our community we are presenting a virtual Hike, Bike & Paddle event from May 25 (Memorial Day) until September 7, 2020 (Labor Day). This virtual event encourages our participants to live an active lifestyle and enjoy time exercising while supporting the idea of staying safe and healthy.
Take your pick from a 3+mile hike, 10 to 15+mile bike ride or paddle on an area waterway.
Note: Once you are registered participants will be eligible for a free t-shirt and/or two FREE bottles of Powerade Ultra while supplies last.

Overview:
The Mayor's Virtual Hike, Bike & Paddle 2020 can take place at your home, in your neighborhood or at a park near you. Our main goal is to encourage our community to stay healthy be being active and exercising while most importantly, having fun! The Mayor's Virtual Hike, Bike & Paddle will begin on Monday, May 25 (Memorial Day) and continue through Monday, September 7, 2020 (Labor Day). Hiking, biking and paddling along with other activities including zumba, yoga, tae chi, etc. are encouraged. If participants plan on using area streets and sidewalks please keep in mind to follow all traffic rules and regulations to help keep you safe.
Hike Route Info:
Walkers/Hikers are encouraged to visit a nearby park, walk your neighborhood or even hit the treadmill. Walking is one of the most efficient ways to stay in shape and lose weight while being easiest on your body. Recommended distance is 1.5 to 3.5 miles.
