Policy Briefs and Evaluations

Policy is a powerful tool that shapes the way our residents experience root causes, and therefore health outcomes. The Center for Health Equity works to provide evidence-based research on the impacts of potential policies. Health impact assessments allow us to explore the potential impacts of a policy in depth by synthesizing existing research, newly collected or existing data, and stakeholder input. Policy briefs are also developed to understand potential impacts, but usually on a shorter timeline using existing research and data.
