The Performance, Planning and Project Management Division
The Performance, Planning and Project Management division of CHE, has oversight of:
Public Health Reaccreditation – LMPHW is accredited through the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB). Becoming an accredited health department was a multi-year process and required annual reporting, as well as periodic recertification. Continuous quality improvement was a major component of accreditation and continues to inform all work within the department.
Performance Improvement – The Quality Improvement Team provides a framework for quality improvement for all LMPHW divisional programs. Not only does the Quality Improvement team work collaboratively with division staff to identify obstacles to quality improvement, but they assist in the development of key performance indicators and provide resources and quality improvement tools to assist in these efforts.
Program Evaluation – Performance, Planning, and Project Management is instrumental in guiding divisions in the use of best practices for program evaluation, by recommending effective tools, such as logic models, SWOT analyses, surveys, program inventories, and other evaluation tools that are crucial to program success.
Strategic Planning – LMPHW’s departmental strategic plan is the catalyst for setting departmental and divisional goals. One key factor in ensuring the success of these goals is strategic alignment within division programs. We are responsible for assisting divisions in strategic planning efforts and providing guidance to ensure alignment with LMPHW’s departmental strategic plan.
Project Management – The Performance, Planning and Project Management division is responsible for providing resources, tools, and templates to assist divisional staff in their efforts to manage project risk, and ensure quality deliverables while remaining within project scope, schedule, and budget for all divisional projects.
