Financial Education and Resources

Financial education helps people learn how to control the money they have so they can know that they can cover the needs they have today, tomorrow and further into the future. The goal of financial education is to be able "to use knowledge and skills to manage financial resources effectively for a lifetime of financial well-being." (President's Advisory Council on Financial Literacy, 2008 Annual Report to the President)

Personal financial literacy is more than just being able to balance a checkbook, compare prices or get a job. It also includes planning for the future and having the discipline to make good money choices every day. Bank On Louisville is a member of the FEeD Financial Education Provider Network, made up of dedicated groups that are committed to helping you learn how to make safe financial choices.
