The Parkland Neighborhood Plan is an ongoing planning process focused on land use, mobility, and urban design of the Parkland neighborhood, with emphasis on the commercial corridor at 28th Street and Virginia Avenue/Dumesnil Street. The study area is geographically located in West Louisville; specifically bounded by 34th Street on the west, West Broadway on the north, Woodland Avenue on the south and 26th Street on the east. The consulting firm of Booker Design Collaborative has been selected by Louisville Metro to lead the planning effort.
