Library Lane Master Plan

The Library Lane Master Plan seeks to extend and enhance Library Lane. By creating a greener, more inviting, accessible, people-first space that connects the Main Branch of the Louisville Public Library (301 York Street) to Memorial Park (971 S. 4th Street), the city and its community partners are hoping to capitalize on the momentum building in the SoBro neighborhood. The project team is overseen by Metro’s Office of Advanced Planning and consists of planners, designers, and engineers from Hodgson-Douglass, Port Urbanism, EHI Consultants, and Shrout, Tate, Wilson Mechanical and Electrical Engineers. The process began in late August and will run through early Spring.

Please join us on January 31 for a public open house at Memorial Auditorium from 5-7 p.m. to learn more about and give feedback on the Master Plan. At the open house, we will also be discussing the West Kentucky Street Corridor Plan, which you can find more information about by clicking here
