Give For Good Louisville
Give For Good Louisville is an online giving day hosted by the Community Foundation of Louisville and created to support the nonprofits doing great work in our community. Previously known as Give Local Louisville, Give For Good Louisville is our community’s biggest day of local giving – and it’s going to be even better in 2017! With a fresh new look and name, the Community Foundation wants everyone to tap into their potential to be a force for good. When we come together with gifts big and small, we can change the world around us. That’s what Give For Good Louisville is all about. Join us September 14, 2017 and #BeAForceForGood for Uspiritus.
On September 14, 2017, your donation helps make us eligible for additional prizes!
The Community Foundation and its generous sponsors provide bonus prizes and incentives to help nonprofits attract donors on the biggest day of local giving. All of the participating nonprofits are energized to win cash prizes offered through friendly competition, adding more excitement and reasons to give.
The Bonus Pool will be distributed equally among nonprofits that reach fundraising tiers of 25, 50 and 75 unique gifts. Since gifts can be as little as $10 each, nonprofits of any size have a strong opportunity to rally their supporters to help them reach their goals.
Grand Prizes are awarded to nonprofits in three nonprofit size categories (small, medium and large) for Most Dollars Raised and Most Unique Donations. We offer Grand Prizes in different categories to enable nonprofits to compete against like-sized peers.
We offer Strategic Prizes like an Early Bird, Night Owl, Morning Rush that allow nonprofits to strategically motivate their donors to give during certain windows to try to win these prizes.
Every hour of the 24-hour giving day plus six extra times during the midday nonprofit rally, a lucky donation will be randomly selected to receive a Delta Dental Golden Ticket and $1,000 will be added to the donation.
A more detailed prize schedule and amounts will be announced closer to the giving day. Note, a "Unique Donation" is defined as one gift of $10 or more to one organization from one donor. Multiple gifts made by the same donor to the same organization will only be counted as one "Unique Donation."
