Adult Mental Health First Aid Training

Adult Mental Health First Aid is a training program - like regular First Aid or CPR - designed to give people the skills to help an adult who is developing a mental health or substance us problem or experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis. Individuals trained in Mental Health First Aid can help to: break down the sigma associated with mental illness and substance use disorders; reach out to those who suffer in silence and let individuals know that support is available in their community.

The course consists of 1.5 hours of independent work and 6 hours of virtual training.

Class only open to residents of the following counties: Bullitt, Henry, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, and Trimble. Each participant in those counties will receive a $20 Amazon gift card.
