This permit is being issued to renew the FEDOOP operating permit. The 30-day public comment period starts on April 17, 2020, and ends on May 18, 2020. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.

Apr 16 2020 $500,000 matching grant challenge issued to support Small Business Continuity Loan Program

The Small Business Continuity Loan Fund Program is seeking donations to meet a $500,000 matching grant, including hosting a virtual 5K walk/run event.

The fund is providing zero-interest loans, with no payments for 12 months, to Louisville’s smallest businesses impacted by COVID-19. Small businesses can receive up to $25,000 to meet short-term debt obligations and remain viable.

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to issue a FEDOOP operating permit for River Metals Recycling, LLC (scrap metal recycling facility), 2114 Metal Lane, Louisville, KY 40206 in accordance with Regulation 2.17. This permit is being issued to reclassify the source from a minor source to a FEDOOP source, due to a change in VOC emission factors. The 30-day public comment period starts on April15, 2020, and ends on May 15, 2020.
