The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to renew an operating permit for Louisville Medical Center, Inc., Steam & Chilled Water Plant (Steam Production and Distribution Plant), 235 Abraham Flexner Way, in accordance with Regulation 2.16. The 30 day public comment period starts August 20, 2015 and ends on September 21, 2015. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control Board will hold a public hearing on August 19, 2015, on a proposed Agreed Board Order with Louisville Medical Center, Inc. d/b/a Medical Center Steam Plant. Medical Center Steam Plant is alleged to have violated District Regulation 2.16 (Title V Operating Permits), at the facility located at 235 Abraham Flexner Way in Jefferson County, Kentucky.
