The first public workshop will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, November 13 at the Cyril Allgeier Community Center, 4101 Cadillac Court. The public is invited to attend, offer input and ask questions.

Nov 7 2019 Air Pollution Control District Proposed Permit

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to issue a construction permit to Clariant Corporation (catalysts and catalyst carrier manufacturing plant), 4900 Crittenden Drive, in accordance with Regulation 2.16. This permit is being issued to replace a NOx emission control system and increase production rates and emissions of six calciners. The 30-day public comment period starts on November 9, 2019, and ends on December 9, 2019. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.

Nov 4 2019 Sign-ups for Louisville Parks and Recreation winter basketball leagues underway

Registration for Louisville Parks and Recreation's adult winter basketball league at the Cyril Allgeier Community Center is now open.  

Co-ed play is encouraged, and the league is geared towards players 18 years of age and older.

Typically teams are made up of eight or more players, and they are guaranteed at least six fully-staffed league games. Registration cost is $450 per team.
